Yes, it can interpret game files. Typically, games are placed on the hard disk regardless.

I mostly rely on Steam and like it. But my PC is close to the TV, which sometimes makes me frustrated when I can't play discs. This affects watching movies or playing disc games. Thanks everyone for your support!
