I live with a family of seven, covering parents, myself, and four siblings. We have over thirty smart cameras connected via WiFi. I own four devices, while my brothers have ten different ones. We also use three WiFi TVs—Roku and Netflix. Each parent has six devices, plus the cameras we own, bringing the total to 27 devices constantly active during weekends. On weekends the count could reach forty or more as friends join and connect their gadgets. The new APs I’m considering need support for multiple networks, avoiding the typical 2GHz and 5GHz separation used in schools. Here are my preferred network setups: MyFamilyLastname-Admin (full bandwidth), MyFamilyLastName-Home (3/4 bandwidth), MyFamilyLastName-Home 2 (1/4 bandwidth—ideal for friends and smart TVs), MyFamilyLastName-Guest (2/8 bandwidth).
