So I was pretty sure, but obviously you don't need a monitor plugged in very often. You're definitely not getting it actually installed. I just plugged a monitor into my machine, and notice I don't have that blurb about running in "live mode" as mine is installed: From the OPNsense documentation Since you can not access the GUI, my initial guess is the interface is not configured yet. I would just do this through the local console with the monitor hooked up, and a keyboard. It's the way I've always done it. It's pretty straight forward, so don't be too worried about it. Again from the OPNsense documentation: All the options, and suggestions are in the documentation link above.

I’ll review it once more. I installed the setup using the OPNSense password to ensure everything was applied correctly. This is the method I’ve used before, but I’ll attempt it again and refer to the documentation next time.
