Earlier this month, someone recommended Adobe Premier Pro, but I wasn’t sure. Many thought it was the best choice, though I’d prefer buying it outright instead of paying monthly. I’ve been considering Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13 because it fits my needs and is reasonably priced. What do others think about using these tools?

it isn't that great. I used to rely on Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13, but it didn’t meet expectations. At the time, I wasn’t as strict about editing tools since I came from a filmmaking background. Now I prefer Sony Vegas Pro 12. Although 13 is no longer available, I don’t need it. I’d recommend starting with Movie Maker until you can afford better software. Piracy is an option only if you’re comfortable with that. I have a small YouTube channel here—check it out: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNqI9q6...c3q2gVLMeQ It’s proud of what we can achieve with Vegas Pro.

I've been using Movie Studio Platinum for a while now, but I mostly stuck to basic projects. It's quite similar to Vegas Pro on my main work machine—its interface is easy to navigate and not too complex. If you're not needing advanced tools in Vegas (just look at the feature list), it's definitely worth the investment.
