I'm really interested in the endgame, haven't really delved into it yet. I've mostly focused on pve/pvp grinding, but otherwise I really enjoy it—very smooth and responsive. The animations are nice, the graphics are good. From what I understand, it's quite popular in the east, so maybe we can take it for granted. It seems balanced and well thought out. I'm not sure what draws players to the endgame in this game, which is essentially the main reason MMOs are fun for me. I'm surprised they haven't managed to implement chat yet, even after being around for a few years. Does that make you wonder about the company?
It has significant issues, many features are hard to use, some choices from NCSoft are poor, but I stay because of the combat system. I’m hoping they improve some clear problems soon. Also, I’m playing Starfall.
To access the chat feature, you need to reach level 11. This setting helps stop bots from overwhelming the conversation.
Capacity to alter loot even during the final boss fight (really NCSOFT?). Many hidden barriers exist in the zones. Certain maps offer enjoyable movement and jumping opportunities, though. The community tends to be tight-knit, with few accepting group invites. There are four players navigating and camping together on the same mobs, plus destructive forces. As far as I understand, the game remains balanced around level 50 patch.
DX9 game. Heavily dependant on single core performance. FPS falls stupidly low in world pvp. Extremely grindy when you reach end game(legendary weapons). Wardrobe is locked under behind a paywall in NA version. Not much content in end game. Very good pvp though.
The main issue I have with the game is that it relies on Game Guard, which is problematic and leads to many problems.
The DX9 seems tied to the game's age, though I'm excited about an update. I haven't noticed any recent world PvP FPS drops, but I'm open to your feedback.
