For those claiming it's a reskinned Battlefield title, I'm not sure what you're engaging with. It doesn't seem to be Battlefront. I think I'll enjoy it for a while or longer, but it really depends on the DLC they include. Whether I'd play it again hinges on what they add.
I had expectations for it, yet certain elements make me question its direction. I’m also cautious about EA since they’ve ruined some beloved franchises before. This time they appear to be trying harder, but I still think it might not be great. Maybe I should experiment more before forming a final opinion.
I've been finding it enjoyable. I plan to wait until after the release to evaluate the missions, maps, and upgrades before purchasing. It looks quite straightforward, as I managed to stay in the top three most of my play sessions. In general first-person shooters, I usually rank in the bottom five at best.
