Based on the information you provided, it seems better to go with Windows 11 since it supports the i5 12400f more effectively. The concern about only having six cores is valid, but the newer OS offers better performance optimization. You might still consider Windows 10 if you need older software compatibility, but upgrading to 11 is likely the smarter choice.

Without e-cores the updated task manager in Windows 11 won't change much. The improvement is minimal and doesn't significantly impact gaming performance, which is what most users care about.

Based on what I've seen and heard, it's clear that Microsloth hasn't been consistent since the early days of XP. I've turned off automatic updates for Win10 because Microsoft keeps reminding me about the supposed 'free upgrade' to Win11. I'm not interested in it or its details. After a few months dealing with a QVL problem, my machine finally ran smoothly. I'm determined not to let Microsloth cause another issue. Updated September 6, 2022 by An0maly_76

Windows often faces many issues... I recall being told to upgrade to Win 11 because my PC didn’t satisfy the minimum specs. I’ll keep using Win 10. P.S. I considered switching to Linux but think it’s a bit more complicated.
