Hi everyone, welcome! I’m having an issue with my new motherboard—adding more than two GPUs causes the computer to freeze or start up, but the Device Manager doesn’t show any other cards. No one else seems to know what’s going on. Any suggestions? Also, I just installed a BIOS update and it hasn’t helped.

B560 Plus with Wi-Fi Asus TUF gaming includes a 2060 and a 3070. After adding three GPUs, the system freezes and restarts. I need to remove all GPUs to boot normally. In BIOS it shows 4G enabled. If I keep it enabled, I can only add up to 2 GPUs, but the last one isn’t working. I’m trying GEn2 PCI.

It seems this setup isn't using any M.2 drives. 4G connectivity must be turned on. However, the board layout might affect this. The CPU manages the primary X16 port, while the chipset deals with the rest—likely the cause. You should force all slots to use Gen 1. You might need a 4-to-1 expansion card and connect it through the main PCIe slot. Make sure you have a good PSU or two.

The card shows 5 PCI slots, but I'm having trouble using it. If G4G is turned on, having three cards won't work. Testing the GPU will start, but the white LED stays on and it doesn't boot.

Uncertain about the capabilities you have access to. The manual should specify this. From what I understand, the system only supports PCIe 4.0 slots while the chipset operates in other slots, which may impose certain constraints. Check the documentation or consider using a 4-to-1 riser to connect all components to the PCIe 4.0 lane.
