In short, temperatures in your Ryzen 5 3600 are usually fine even when idle, especially with a good cooler like the box cooler you're using. Temperatures don’t harm the CPU much unless they stay consistently high over time. If you're concerned about long-term health, consider upgrading to a better air cooler for better airflow and stability. Popular options include Noctua NH-D15 or Arctic Silver 5.

Download hwinfo64 for better accuracy. A 3600Hz sampling rate likely won't reach 95°C, possibly indicating a software problem. I'd start by installing HWInfo64 and reviewing the CPU temperatures in the package. Free download available for Windows, DOS.
