Seasonal wishes. I set up my Ryzen 3600 system with a MSI B450 Gaming Max Plus board. Stability problems keep popping up—some apps act oddly or freeze. The motherboard has 4x8GB 3200MHz Corsair Vengeance RAM, but the site says only DIMM 2 is supported, not the 4x8GB 3200MHz variant. I’m also aware they don’t always test every configuration. I’ve got some experience with computers, but overclocking RAM is unfamiliar territory. I’m thinking downclocking from 3200MHz to 2933MHz or switching to a smaller 2x16GB setup, but I’d like advice from others before making changes. Extra note: the machine also has an RM850x PSU.

Your RAM timings are configured based on the XMP profile you've loaded.

I didn't load the xmp profile because I didn't modify anything with that setting, as I'm unfamiliar with timing adjustments. I started with the bios running at 3200mhz using auto mode. Now I'm using 2933mhz and feel a noticeable improvement. Does the xmp profile adjust all necessary parameters for optimal performance?
