I just put pfSense on as my primary router handling routing, DHCP, DNS and similar functions. Now I’m trying to configure OpenVPN on it. Unfortunately, I need a TAP interface but can’t get it working. From a remote device I can connect and the client receives a DHCP reply, but it can’t reach other network devices or access the router itself—no DNS or anything else. Even my own devices can’t ping the client or the router, so it’s like nothing is working. I followed the instructions on Reddit, but it looks like something important is missing. Anyone here, could you help figure out what’s going wrong?

The guidelines at the provided link didn't function properly, so I had to try a different approach. Eventually, everything worked as intended.
