Hello everyone, I’m unsure where to share this but I need a way to access sections of a 150GB text file. I’ve set my page file on the SSD to 150GB and tried using Notepad++ with 32GB RAM, but it keeps showing an “insufficient memory” error. Even though some apps claim they can handle large files, the problem persists. If I could just view parts of the file, I’d be able to scroll through until the end. My PC specs are: 5700X, 32GB DDR4-3200, AMD RX 580, Windows 11 updated. Thanks.

I've never worked with a text file that big before. I saw someone on a Stack Exchange post suggesting a tool called Large File Editor, which claims to handle files larger than system memory—worth giving it a try if you haven't used one like that yet. https://www.liquid-technologies.com/large-file-editor

It functioned properly after testing. I explored several other large file editors, but they couldn't handle files too big for memory. Now I can access the data in a text file, though it's slower than expected.

I'm scanning the file for relevant entries. The process requires moving outdated information from memory, which slows things down.

It's perfectly fine to be able to open it as well.
