I checked online and found others with the same issue who resolved it by updating their AVG antivirus from version 8.0. If you're facing this, try cleaning your system—CPU and RAM usage might be contributing too.

I haven't checked the usage details, but giving AV a try seems worthwhile. I've faced issues with real-time protection in Avast before, so it might help.

The document appears to be formatted correctly. No unusual colours or elements are present. You can share it if needed, and I’ll help adjust any formatting issues.

It seems the issue persists despite removing Avast. Performance remains stable across different files, including basic ones that previously worked. CPU and RAM usage stay consistent even when the loading indicator appears. The problem occurs on both HDD and flash drives, suggesting a broader system concern. It might be time to reinstall the entire Office suite.
