Configuring a used HTPC with an Intel Xeon X3470 on an Intel DH57JG and 8GB DDR3-1333 RAM. I installed my GT 730 to verify everything functioned properly. Activated XMP in BIOS, set up Windows and drivers. After shutting down, removed the GT 730 and added an R9 380. When I restarted, the system displayed the splash screen then froze, blocking access to BIOS or Windows. I removed the R9 380 and tested it in another machine—it worked perfectly. Also attempted using an RX570, but it didn’t boot. The issue seems specific to my GT 730. The motherboard is using the latest BIOS from Intel. Can you find a solution?

Check if the BIOS is legacy; if so, ensure newer cards function properly.
