Hello, everyone! I recently assembled a computer using some extra components I already owned and am facing a problem that doesn’t seem to have a clear answer. When attempting to enter BIOS by pressing DEL or F2, I receive the AsRock splash screen with prompts asking to set up BIOS or Boot Menu—this indicates the system isn’t too slow. Pressing F2 or DEL results in only a black screen. I’ve tried several things: 1. When no storage is present, it immediately goes to BIOS and functions properly. 2. During a Windows recovery to BIOS, the image appears and everything seems normal. 3. I switched the display output from GPU to both HDMI and DP. Unfortunately, I don’t have a USB-C port, but I’m not sure that would help. - still experiencing issues Here are the details: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 RAM: 2x 8GB Kingston HyperX Fury 3600MHz CL18 GPU: ASUS STRIX RTX 2070 Super MB: AsRock B450 PRO 4 PSU: Corsair RM750i Earlier, I had an RX 6800XT and a set of two 16GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo cards. Before upgrading to the 2070S, I encountered issues accessing BIOS via DEL/F2. Has anyone encountered this problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you for your time!

I recall facing a similar issue before. I resolved it by changing the video cable from HDMI to DP, or vice versa. Perhaps the monitor was configured incorrectly and didn’t auto-adjust. Verify your monitor’s connection settings for the right port or input type.

Use a single RAM stick and remove the second one.

Thank you for your response! The monitor remains active with a light black display. Your input appears accurate, but I'll attempt it again. Also, I've checked all GPU ports except USB-C, and the issue persists. Resetting to defaults didn't help.

Turned off every monitor except one, it’s something I’ve experienced before.

Sorry, I didn't note that. Tested with just one RAM stick in each slot, and the outcome remained consistent. Since it functions without storage installed, I believe the problem lies elsewhere. I'll check for a BIOS update, though—it seems like a GPU issue at first glance.

Only a single display is connected. Tested using both HDMI and DisplayPort.

Disconnect the monitor cables, attempt to boot BIOS without the monitor, press the delete key, then connect the HDMI to the monitor and observe the outcome.
