Hey everyone, I just completed my first PC build and ran into a fan issue. All the fans aren’t working when connected to the hub. Only two spin up. I checked each fan separately—they all function properly on their own but not together. I’ve tested multiple hubs without fixing the problem and even tried it on another PC, but nothing changed. I have a total of ten fans. Any advice? Here’s what I’m using: ARGB hub with magnetic base, two fan hubs, and a thermal right case fan. Let me know if you have any ideas!

Are both hubs linked to a SATA power source via your PSU? On the Argb/fan hub, there should be a SATA connection for plugging in the PSU. The other hub has one cable coming out, likely splitting into SATA and PWM ports. All hubs use PWM to control fan speed based on power delivery. The SATA connector is needed before it works. Depending on your board’s PWM settings, it can usually run 3-4 fans, but overloading will cause them to fail. EDIT: Deepcool acts as a splitter and only connects to a PWM port—don’t chain it. Use it solely for PWM fans. EDIT: PWM ports are managed by software/BIOS; unless you force them, they may not operate. You might need to train the board to recognize minimum and maximum speeds for optimal fan performance based on temperature curves or custom settings.

I linked the SATA power connection. Now you need to adjust the BIOS configuration. Because the fans aren't running, you're cautious about making changes. You haven't yet installed the operating system.

It is mentioned in the bios as fan control or a similar term.
