Only RAM available?
If that were true, both collections would function with intel.however I've checked them and neither has been released by intel.
It involves more than just basic compatibility. The RAM must match the specifications of the motherboard it's being installed on. DDR4 and DDR4 boards work best together, and vice versa. Make sure your RAM is compatible with the dual-channel setup of your specific board.
Certainly DDR memory sometimes fails to connect with Intel. The main issue is timing configurations. AMD's XMP version is called AMP, but Intel's chipset can't interpret it. In certain situations, Intel's chipset might also miss the XMP profile entirely.
