After resetting the CMOS to prevent freezing, my PC ceased displaying after two RAM modules were placed in their proper DIMM slots. The motherboard light indicated active DRAM, yet only one stick was recognized. I replaced the modules to check for defects, but both worked independently. I experimented with various DIMM locations without success. Additionally, re-seating the CPU failed as well. System specifications: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, stock cooler, Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming (WiFi), Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2x16) DDR4-3200, storage Sabrent Rocket Q 1TB, GPU Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 Gaming, 8GB VRAM, PSU Corsair CTM Gold 850W, case Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic.
Initially I believed the memory channel was faulty, but I suspect the RAM stick is drawing too much power. This occurred with Alex from LMG using his TridentZ; he had to remove one to allow his PC to start. His previous system was replaced with an Intel Extreme Upgrade. Consider reaching out to Corsair for a replacement. Please let me know if this applies or if it offers any solution.
I've already checked the first position and the third one didn't work. The fourth slot is fine on its own.
Consider suggesting a voltage of 1.15V. It's a bit unconventional, but it might work. Also, double-check the RAM settings for a base DDR4 clock.
