Only PC communication occurs; resetting restarts the system properly.
Hi there, this issue has persisted for as long as the PC has been running. When I power it on from off, the BIOS screen appears but the system freezes. Pressing the reset button restarts it normally. It seems connected to the occasional GPU crashes I've faced over time—they're infrequent but can block gameplay, especially for high-end titles.
System details: Windows 10 home 64-bit, Intel Core i5-4430 @ 3.00 GHz, 16 GB dual Corsair Vengeance (slots A1/B1), ASUS Gryphon Z87 board, ASUS Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 with 3 GB VRAM, 520W Insignia PSU (model NS-PCW5250). I can share a video if that would help.
Is the current BIOS version up to date? The PSU seems to be a questionable model, possibly connected to the issue. Could might not have enough battery power left. There’s a round coin-shaped battery near the board—consider swapping it for a CR2032.
