Hey there, I understand the situation. My internet speeds are around 150 Mbps down and 15 Mbps up via cable. I have four devices connected through Ethernet to my modem, plus two Android phones on Wi-Fi. I’ve checked everything I can—updated drivers, changed network settings, switched cables, booted PC in safe mode, reset the modem, tested all ports, even reinstalled Windows. Still, my PC only manages about 50 Mbps, while the others hit the full 150 Mbps. It’s obvious something’s wrong. I built this PC in February 2018 and kept adding upgrades over time. The only part I haven’t changed yet is the motherboard. Could it be faulty? Is the CPU or another component causing the slowdown? I don’t have MSI motherboard drivers installed and I’m not fond of unnecessary bloatware. Let me know if you can help figure this out!

Hello, Starting checking if this is a software or hardware issue. I would recommend to download and boot you PC from a USB (such as Live environment using Linux). Then test your connection on. If the problem persists inside the USB booted OS, this is a hardware issue (maybe a setting in the BIOS, for example). If the problem is solved under the USB booted OS, consider checking your OS and drivers, maybe reinstalling entire OS.
