My mic functions well in the lobby and at the start of the match, but it fails during a full game. Steam tests it normally, but the issue doesn't get resolved. The PC remains stable, yet I'm confused. Many players I've matched with don't check the map or rely on my voice cues to locate teammates when they're down. Is this a game bug or just my setup?

The early access version might have some issues; developers are fixing audio and microphone problems, and it should be resolved soon.

I can hear my teammate across the map, but they don’t pick up my voice. The chat indicator appears at the start of the game, then it stops working after a few minutes. It’s not that anyone else can hear you—only your team can, and you can’t hear enemy players no matter how close they are. I appreciate how this helps keep the community more respectful, reducing the noise and toxic behavior from people who spam or argue in games. Probably learned from H1Z1 when everyone yells nonsense just as loudly in the lobby.
