acquired a fresh setup, focusing on apex on EA or Origin. It performed well initially, but soon faced severe stuttering and freezes. Occasionally, specific in-game audio would cause crashes. I attempted various fixes—updating drivers, adjusting audio settings—but nothing resolved the issue. Streaming services like Spotify and YouTube also experienced freezes, sometimes stopping mid-play. Despite this, I could still chat on Discord. Eventually, I reset everything to factory settings, but the problem lingered, especially with Origin and EA titles. After updating the BIOS, performance improved enough for smooth streaming and gaming, though occasional stuttering persisted even at normal load times.
I strongly doubt the chip is functioning properly. Submit a return request. You’re claiming you’ve controlled the powerful CPU while also using two 4070s, which seems impossible.
I think Intel will guide you through the testing process once you reach out to them. I’m still intrigued about this.
They might have intended two fans, as dual GPUs aren't common outside very specialized situations (hope so!). @OddOod
We lack much detail, so CPU or RAM seems most probable. Consider disabling XMP, use just one stick, etc. If nothing works, return the CPU.
