Hey guys,
I'm following the same setup:
Processor: GIGABYTE 990FXA-UD3
CPU: AMD Vishera FX-8300
GPU: SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 470 4GB
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1866
Power Supply: Seasonic S12II-620 620W
Case: NZXT S340
SSD: Kingston HyperX Savage - 240GB
HDD: WD Blue EX - 1TB

I was able to get a stable 4.4Ghz overclock, but recently only half of my RAM is working. I started troubleshooting—first tried one stick, then the other, and nothing. Eventually, I switched to the B1 slot, which fixed it temporarily, but caused boot issues. I reset the BIOS, using default settings, and applied an XMP profile targeting 1866Mhz, but it didn’t work. When I put both sticks in and ran memory at 1866Mhz with the rest of the BIOS set to default, everything worked fine.

I then tried a 4.2 overclock, which was safe, and it functioned properly. However, when I applied the 4.4Ghz overclock again, only half of my memory remained usable. After resetting the BIOS multiple times with 4.2, it still didn’t work. I’ve spent a lot of time tweaking settings, adjusting voltages, and testing, but nothing seems to resolve the issue.

Any suggestions or ideas would be really helpful.

1| What version of BIOS are you currently using?
2| Have you adjusted the RAM voltage to 1.65v and also entered the frequency in BIOS?
3| Regarding RAM, could you share a link to your RAM model?
4| We'll require the motherboard revision and operating system details.

Lutfij :
1| What BIOS revision are you on?
2| Have you manually set the ram voltage to 1.65v while also keying in the frequency within BIOS?
3| Speaking of ram, mind sharing a link to your ram kit?
4| We're going to need the rev number for your motherboard and your OS.
Thank you for answering. To your questions. Bios revision is F3. Yes I tried different voltages up to 1.65v. Here is link to my kit
http://
and my mobo revision is rev 4.0
