After about two hours of troubleshooting my Ethernet setup, the problem persisted despite restarting the router. Once I got back online, only Google and Microsoft sites worked, preventing updates or other apps from loading. It seems my Windows won’t start or run anything else. The odd part is that I could browse quickly after booting up, but it’s still unclear why this happens. Anyone know what might be causing this issue?

Look for specific guidelines or documentation related to firewall configuration. Start with basic setup steps and gradually explore advanced options.

I have just one PC, but if I need to connect other devices on the network, it might be tricky since I share a home with seven others.

While they're all asleep, do whatever you need to do.

You’ve disabled the firewall, restarted your computer, but no changes appear to have occurred. It might not be related to your firewall configuration.

It seems your IPv4 isn't reaching the internet while your IPv6 does. That could definitely be the issue.

It seems the main problem lies there. The platforms available support both IPv4 and IPv6, though many remain limited to IPv4.

It might be due to an issue with the router, but it could also relate to your machine. The problem started after you moved in, suggesting the router is likely the source.
