Only audio is sent to the left speaker.
I just purchased an Edifier 1700BT since headphones were becoming too hot in the heat. I turned off the onboard HD audio to avoid the annoying issue with nahimic, as I’ve been using Steelseries Arctis 7 for the last two years. My motherboard is an MSI Z390 Gaming Edge AC with Realtek built-in speakers. After connecting the speakers and enabling onboard audio, I plugged everything in—making sure to connect the speaker to the 3.5mm jack via the included aux cable. When I played a YouTube video, only the left speaker was working. I’ve tried many fixes, including updating Realtek drivers, but Windows still treats it like a surround device. Any advice? I was excited about this upgrade!
Are there additional devices you'd like to connect to this port? Other options include headphones, speakers, or similar equipment.
Verified audio outputs through Bluetooth; all functions operate correctly. Panel connector works too, though the build feels somewhat unstable. Settings are properly configured.
Adjust your audio settings to route output from the rear port. Ensure front-facing sound quality matches the rear without noticeable differences, even in noisy environments.
