I have two mice linked to my windows laptop, a logitech mx master and a razer viper v2 pro. The drivers are functioning properly for both, and they worked together before on the same machine (with just one cursor as expected). However, starting yesterday only one is responding and the computer ignores the other. My suspicion is that when I turn on the laptop and start using one mouse, the other becomes disabled after a short time. Even though the side buttons on my logitech mouse stop working with the viper, they still respond well. Yes, using just one mouse might fix the issue, but I use different mice for work and gaming. My system runs Windows 11 Pro 23H2, with an AMD Ryzen 9 CPU and an RTX 3070 GPU.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Uninstall both external mice, disconnect from the laptop, and restart it without any of your external devices. Begin by adding the Razer mouse, then install Synapse (if it’s a standalone app, run it in an elevated command). Ensure the mouse is properly recognized. Restart the laptop and connect the Logitech mouse. Install Logi Options, then test if both mice function together.

By the way, you didn’t specify your laptop’s make, model, or SKU. It might be helpful to reinstall the chipset driver manually in an elevated command as well.
