Only a few USB3 connections are responding as USB2
I have a weird situation on my intel ASRock Z170 K6 motherboard where all the USB3 ports (Super Speed) that are powered from the intel chipset only work in USB2 mode (High Speed). I have tried various USB3 devices on all the ports on the rear motherboard IO and the front panel port. The only functioning USB3 ports (working in USB3 speed) are the ones powered from the Asmedia chipset. My Dell S2715DG monitor has built-in USB3 hub. It is connected to my motherboard USB3 port. Since the motherboard USB3 port only works in USB2 mode, it is hampering the USB hub on the Dell monitor too (limiting it to USB2 speed). You can see in the USB Tree Viewer program that there is Port 17 to 26 with Super Speed. I have tried all the USB ports on the PC but non of them belong to these. My Windows 10 64-bit is auto updated to latest version. I have checked my UEFI and there is no settings for switching USB3-USB2 speed. I think this is just buggy driver issue. Or could it be something else? How do I get my USB3 speed?
