You can adjust the settings in BIOS, but with an 8GB system, Ryzen usually sets aside up to 2GB for the frame buffer. This accounts for the reported 6GB RAM usage. The RYZEN APU generally operates between 64MB and over 2GB.

It's normal with Ryzen w/ Vega (Raven Ridge). With UMA mode it exclusively reserves the memory so it isn't accessible by the OS. As far as the OS is concerned there is 0 MB reserved.

Windows continues to show installed memory amounts. If RAM is occupied by other components such as an iGPU, it will add the data with "(XX GB usable)"
