When I usually play GTA Online, I always join an invite-only server. But I stayed up late and everyone I knew had gone to bed—should have joined too. I thought I’d play with the general population, but I didn’t realize we’d all be repeatedly attacked for ten minutes while rejoining many other servers. It looked strange at first, seeing 45 people killed all at once like dollar bills spilling from a strip club and repeating over and over. Eventually it lost its appeal after I played for the 47th time. It seems hacking this issue is easy or even simple for someone as young as me. Is there anything being done about it?

It's unclear, but this might be the reason I haven't played GTA V online for a while.

Distinct from typical player actions. Recent updates resolved GPU issues and improved frame rates on AMD systems. CrossFire users report performance drops, while others with similar hardware confirm problems persist.

Performance has consistently been excellent for me, even with a 960. I occasionally play single-player, but I rarely find the time to do it on invite-only sessions.

It was a 4GB model with a 960 MHz clock speed, which was what you were hoping to get for your lounge PC, though your previous 290 ended up being different.

Just the 2GB version worked fine, though it struggled on max settings. It ran smoothly at high quality with only minor texture pops when going over 180mph. The cards aren’t terrible, but I keep upgrading everything. EVGA offers B-stock (similar to refurb) 960 models for around $159. prices shift often, but they usually have them here: http://www.evga.com/Products/ProductList.aspx?type=8

This offers great value if you're not overly concerned about scatches and don't need accessories.

GTA Online will stay broken because R* designed the server system badly. Play only when you’re ready—don’t risk getting trapped in the chaos. The real fix would require R* to offer dedicated servers and strong cheat detection, but that would be too costly for them, so don’t hope for changes anytime soon.

They seem to handle quality control well with their B-stock items. I purchased a 980 and it appeared brand new, even without fingerprints, and the protective film was still intact. However, this might not always be true. Luckily, they typically don’t include many extras. Usually, they offer 970s for around $250 and occasionally 980s for about $370.
