Websites often experience delays ranging from a few seconds to several minutes. Speed tests reveal stable connections with download speeds between 100 and 180 Mbps, varying by location and traffic load. The modem typically shows around 50% memory usage. Previously, sites generally loaded in under three seconds, mostly 1 to 2 seconds.
Open Command Prompt via the search bar, choose it, then execute "ping -t 1.1.1.1". Monitor for packet loss by pressing Ctrl + C when ready. If loss is detected, examine your hardware (cable, router, modem) or reach out to your ISP. If no loss appears, consider a DNS resolver problem. Adjust your DNS settings to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8.
I own a 1.1.1.1 device, but it's linked via Ethernet on my PC. It might be a Wi-Fi problem—perhaps the modem and router aren't properly synchronized after installing a new modem from your ISP.
Does this impact one or several gadgets? Are they connected via cables or through Wi-Fi? As mentioned before, it seems to influence website loading, but also whether a Facebook message reaches your family member after the app finishes. When linked directly to the modem (wired or wireless), does it behave identically to when it’s tied to the router?
It seems everything is fine, just a quick fix needed for our ISP.
