I started my PC today and noticed it was repeatedly booting and the motherboard lights changed between CPU and DRAM. I tested each RAM one by one. Eventually, one failed completely. My current RAM is a Gskill Trident Z Royal 32GB, which is two years old, and one of them seems to be dead. These are brand new, and I haven’t experienced any problems before. Could this be a problem specific to the motherboard? Also, note that I have a stabilizer connected, so there’s no sudden power changes. My motherboard model is MSI B365M PRO-VH (MS-7C31), with an Intel Core i5-9400F at 2.90GHz, 2904 MHz, 6 cores, and 6 logical processors.

You think you've received a lemon, which is why we should return it for a replacement.

Received an issue with my Corsair 16GB NVMe drive, they sent a replacement at no cost via their return process.

I believe the shop where I purchased it has closed, but I still have the receipt and warranty. May I forward it to GSkill?

Reach out first to obtain the RMA number and guidance. They probably offer an online portal for uploading receipts. Avoid sending items without prior communication.

Begin RMA orders straight from G.Skill without visiting the store. Many RAM makers offer permanent coverage.
