One day my PC stopped responding properly, so I powered it off and turned it back on, but the problem continued. Luckily, I had a previous GPU, a Radeon RX 570, which I had installed earlier. Initially, only the monitor connected through DisplayPort was functional, but then both screens started working again without warning. I thought the newer RTX 3060 might be the cause, but the next day it worked once more, so I swapped the GPUs and everything ran smoothly. After updating the system and restarting, I still faced the same issue—after a brief display of gray for half a second, the screen turned black. I returned to the older GPU, but now it only connected to one monitor. Meanwhile, the RTX 3060 fails to boot at all. In BIOS or Task Manager it appears, but in Device Manager it’s listed. If the HDMI cable is disconnected, the DisplayPort monitor turns gray yet stays connected technically, and I can’t put the computer to sleep. My specs include an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X CPU, an MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK MAX WiFi motherboard, 32GB DDR4 RAM, plus the two GPUs mentioned. I’ve reset the CMOS, updated drivers on both the GPU and board, but still can’t get the RTX 3060 to post and install drivers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked your two monitors on a different machine? Did you verify your GPUs with another system? Do you have an extra power supply to try with your computer? You might find one at a store and bring it back if it doesn’t solve the problem (check first before buying). Good luck!
