Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice and hope it helps. I’ve been browsing Reddit for two days without success.
My setup includes:
- Radeon RX 7800 XT
- Ryzen 5 5600X
- 32 GB RAM at 3200Mhz

The problem started yesterday when I was playing Spider-Man 2 on my PC. Everything worked normally until suddenly the monitors went black and the fans became extremely loud. I had to restart the computer completely. After turning it back on, one monitor failed to appear. It seems like my drivers might be corrupted or missing, or perhaps something unusual prevented me from launching the game, showing errors about missing or incorrect drivers. I had to completely remove and reinstall the AMD software.

Although the game isn’t crashing, it appears to be interfering with my drivers, which is causing the monitor issues. The Event Viewer lists these events:
- Faulting application name: Spider-Man2.exe, version 1.130.1.0
- Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version 10.0.26100.3624
- Exception code: 0xc0000374
- Fault offset: 0x0000000000115f55
- Faulting process id: 0x49F4
- Faulting application start time: 0x1DBA538B1A06F63
- Faulting application path: D:\Marvels SpiderMan 2\Spider-Man2.exe
- Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll

Report ID: 13b1f72d-1e30-46c3-8368-1be98df6bcb5

I’ve tried:
- Using DDU to uninstall and reinstall drivers
- Installing drivers manually
- Running the game at the lowest settings

Just to confirm, my GPU and CPU aren’t overclocked or altered in any way.

Check if the game supports updates or redownloading. Reinstall the game if needed. Update/Reinstall AMD chipset drivers. Watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0iW0JwsP2w
