Welcome to the beginning of DDR memory around 1998. Or perhaps an earlier standard existed, using the rising and falling edges of the signal wave. I’ve gone through it again. Ultra ATA handled the edge transitions for clock pulses, as did AGP, meaning the concept predates DDR in 1998.
