Once you assemble your PC...
Remove all included disks from your setup. Visit the manufacturer's website and install all drivers. Get GPU drivers from AMD or Nvidia. Make sure you're using version 8.1, not 7.
Make sure Windows is installed first. The CD that came with the motherboard includes the drivers; you can install them in Windows once it starts. It’s best to keep only the network driver from the CD and get the rest from the manufacturer’s site.
Install motherboard drivers first, then GPU drivers. Check for any additional drivers required. Use the web browser you prefer. Install VLC 7z.
Download the drivers first, then install Firefox and other software. I avoid using Ninite since I maintain specific apps on my SSHD and some on my SSD, and I run into problems when installing in different places with it.
You either download the newest drivers and install them or place them on a USB flash drive for later use.
