If you're unfamiliar with what a rat is, it's a type of remote access trojan that lets someone control your PC using your IP address. The intruder, whom we'll call Timmy, was likely a script kiddie who tried to run a script on my computer. When he saved the file, he chose a .bat format instead of VBS. Timmy got frustrated and activated my webcam. Despite the situation, I had tape over it so it didn't matter. After running the script, it worked perfectly. He shared his Discord and suggested installing Nanocore to remove him from my system. At that moment, I had no idea what Nanocore was. I experimented with him for hours until he gave up, opening CMD and performing commands typical of script kiddies like ipconfig. He claimed he knew my location, but I realized he was just a script kid.
