Onboard Ram On Laptop
Onboard Ram On Laptop
I have concerns about the dependability of built-in RAM in laptops. Many models now include both onboard RAM and an expandable slot. My two main questions are: 1) What happens if the onboard RAM becomes damaged? 2) Is it better to replace it with another slot or risk the laptop's value?
Do you mean the one with the soldered connection inside? It seems like a regular dimmer, just like any other. The main difference is that it's soldered. You could try adding another if space allows. However, the chance of it failing due to soldering is quite small.
