I've been adjusting Skyrim with the Nexus mod manager and using TESEdit and LOOT for load order and dirty plugins. Still facing issues—sometimes the game freezes on a random frame while audio plays, and I keep seeing endless loading screens. The only solution is restarting my computer. Anyone have any advice or fixes? Thanks! ~King

That's why many Skyrim mods cause issues, as they often introduce instability.

To keep things running smoothly with endless loading screens, consider removing all but your main saves and letting me know your CPU specs. I’ve got a lot of mods installed (258) and use loot and tes5edit. With a G3258, I found smooth gameplay by lowering graphics settings and turning off any effects like EBS or lighting. Once stable, you can gradually increase settings until everything feels balanced. I noticed you have an 4460—follow my advice and adjust slowly. For a 750ti, performance should be fine after the changes.

I usually run at about 50 frames per second, but I’ll give it a shot now, thanks!

Adjusting the distant detail to a higher setting from Ultra should resolve the issue.

After upgrading to that PC model, you should have improved graphics performance.

Faced identical problems with my previous update. Unlike before, I didn’t have any ENB and used an SSD, yet I still encountered endless loading screens and crashes during save game loading. The only relief comes from launching a fresh character and new save file. It appears excessive mods are introducing too many scripts and objects into saves, overwhelming the engine. I’m considering a reinstall, but at this stage I’m looking into other titles such as Betrayer and soon Savage Lands.

You might have altered ugridstoload, which led to many loading screen problems.
