Hello, I'm assembling a PC with my brother. We've assembled everything on a workbench to check it before putting it in a case. When we pressed the power button (connected from the case), nothing happened and after a second try it briefly flashed red. I've tried re-seating the CPU (arrows pointing, no worries) and reconnecting everything, but the problem continues. Components: MSI B650 Gaming plus Wi-Fi, AMD Ryzen 5 8600G, Kingston Fury 1x16GB 6000MT/s, GeForce GTX GPU from a previous build, and two SATA SSDs (not yet attached). Thanks for your help.

It's common when dealing with tech issues to figure things out on your own. I mistakenly connected the wrong cable—PCIe instead of CPU. Appreciate the assistance; system is now running.
