Checked the CPU documentation from that thread. I applied -30 across all cores and it worked well. There seems to be a newer version available for your board that includes CO features, so you might not need the tool anymore. I don’t rely on vcore offsets.
oh... oh cool... i read something that it would come to some boards... so a BIOS update? and thanks I'll look into that anyways cause im curious, but i think I'll probably prefer doing it in BIOS if possible, not RM tho edit: well now i remembered i need this debug.cli thing, right? or just what you linked? https://github.com/PrimeO7/How-to-underv.../README.md @freeagent but it looks like my mobo already has some stuff like PBO, NUMA... no idea what it all means, but i think with PBO i should be able to undervolt it (just by how much is the question lol, my 3600 did -250mv iirc) also the have this cheat code enabler: ??? why no R23 though, wth msi...?
The fix came easy as I expected. Applied PBO2 with curve optimizer, set the temperature to -30 across all cores—maybe lower it a bit if needed. After clicking apply, my 5800x3d dropped 6C and is now at 79c in cb23. Looks like it should work for you too. Case closed. : D
