Hello everyone, I recently upgraded my motherboard and CPU to a newer generation after replacing older components because of the demanding games I play. After a week of use, I’m now experiencing crashes during gameplay. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My main game is Tarkov, which is known for being CPU and RAM-intensive, so the upgrade made sense. Hardware: Intel i7 14700K, Gigabyte B760 Aorus Master DDR4, Corsair RM750i 750W 80 Plus Gold, Gigabyte 1080 G1 Gaming, 8GB Corsair DDR4 at 3600MHz, 4x8GB RAM. Storage: Samsung 960 EVO NVMe M.2 500GB SSD. I’ve tried numerous fixes and still can’t resolve the issue. My thoughts are: the GPU might be struggling to keep up with the CPU? Or maybe there’s insufficient power? I only used the single 8-pin connector and haven’t connected the extra 4-pin RAM stick. I’ve updated drivers, BIOS, and even reinstalled Windows, but changed the RAM allocation to the HDD. I checked the performance tab and noticed the GPU never hit its max temperature (around 76°C), while the CPU stayed near 65°C. Usage was consistently under 40%, whereas the GPU was only 2-5%. With my previous setup, the GPU would run at 90-100% capacity. What’s going on here?

The error message indicates a kernel security check failure. Possible causes include driver issues, BIOS updates, OS or storage corruption, or hardware problems like memory damage. Review the troubleshooting steps for each potential cause. If none resolve it, consider updating the GPU BIOS as a last resort.
