I'm attempting to transfer an old DVD to my PC using video files from a Sony Digital Video Camera that was written to the DVD by a home entertainment DVD player/writer.
I'm copying around 20 DVDs to a hard drive for cloud upload and sharing with family. Most copies are successful except for one, which only manages about 70% and then triggers a cyclic redundancy error. I've instructed the software to overlook all errors, but the copy still fails.
Anyone have suggestions for software that can handle copying only the intact parts of the video while skipping damaged sections?
PS. The DVD's underside is clean with no scratches or dust. My dad was very careful with his discs.

It's normal for a recently burned DVD to work on some drives but not others. The initial step should be to transfer the issue disc to another DVD drive, ideally from a different manufacturer or model.
