Hello.
I own an old HP 6730b from highschool with a broken screen:

I purchased a VGA to HDMI adapter.
I attempted to start it and connect the VGA to a secondary monitor, but nothing worked.
I remember having Windows Vista installed, though I’m not sure.
Is there a method to force the screen to duplicate? I’ve heard I need to log in for it to do so automatically, possibly using the spacebar. I also don’t know my password.
Any experienced tech-savvy individuals here could assist?

Is there a method to make the screen duplicate automatically?
Try spinning the guide around; how to install Windows on a laptop with a broken screen.
Discussing this on forums.tomsguide.com might help you figure out if you can transfer the display to another device.
