Offset increases upward in BF1 mode
Offset increases upward in BF1 mode
Hello, I recently purchased Battlefield 1 Ultimate. I've been experiencing frequent lag issues, especially with connection problems. I notice the game stutters at around 60 fps, and the netgraph shows high extension offset causing spikes. My ping stays below 40 ms, I use Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, and it's near my router. Some players only face this on servers with 64 players, but mine happens even without others. On one occasion, the issue disappeared completely—I could play smoothly without those offset spikes. I've tried various fixes like disabling antivirus, switching to Ethernet, and closing programs, but nothing seems to work. I'm worried about wasting money and hope you can help resolve this. Looking forward to your advice.
The antivirus might consume bandwidth due to interference with the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, even if you're near the router. Using 5GHz could help but Ethernet remains a better option. Regional traffic or server overloads may be causing issues. Your game runs smoothly with ping between 20-40 ms; try running it in windowed mode with Task Manager open to monitor network activity. Check desktop performance too. What is your internet speed? Also verify you meet the minimum requirements for BF1 OS: 64-bit Windows 10 or later, Intel Core i7 4790 or better, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, DirectX 11.5 compatible, and a connection of 512 KBPS or faster. You have 50GB available storage.
Same issue encountered again. Attempted all previous advice but still no solution...
