I can't play online games and my laptop only has an MX150 (though it has an i7-8550U). What fun games can I try?

Almost any game, perhaps not the latest AAA titles, but older ones are definitely possible, together with all the others.

What external devices are available? If you own a controller, I recommend exploring Hollow Knight—it's an exceptional game, though it shines even more with a controller.

I don't see anything that catches my attention. Terraria doesn't seem to work for me, Planetary annihilation's interface is laggy and makes it hard to play, and I recently took over the world in Hoi4 again. Most of the games I play are online or too tough, and I can't download big titles either.

I enjoy Pokémon too, if you like, give it a shot—Pokémon Reborn has only 500MB old-school graphics, but you won’t waste 100 hours on the story; it’s really worth it.

If you enjoy racing games like Forza Horizon 4 and Anno 1800, check out Battletech, Cities Skylines, and the Total war series (especially Shogun 2 and Three Kingdoms).
