Office 365 is available at no cost for all students. You receive the complete package for five PCs and five devices, along with one terabyte of OneDrive storage. Contact your university’s IT office for additional details or review any past announcements they may have shared about accessing it.

I work with Office 365 Business at my organization. When aiming for cost savings, remember a single user can run on up to five devices. I currently have five users, yet Office 365 is deployed across 25 computers.

Additionally, MSDNAA provides access to a large collection of free software from Microsoft. I’m planning to reach out to a friend who’s still in school to connect me with Windows Server 2012 R2.

He isn't meant to do that. Doing so violates the licensing terms and he'll need to accept the product key first.

I received Office 2013 plus 365 with one terabyte of free space from my university. The drawback is that they track your actions on OneDrive.

Reject this idea. A .edu email isn't required; you just need one from your university. Not every institution has it, and some limit access to certain departments.

If you need quick access to 2013, this option works well. It helps with things like opening files on your phone when you misplace them and makes Word 2013 feel faster.
