OEM/Tray Vs. Retail
OEM/Tray Vs. Retail
I noticed a 2300x offer, which is cheaper than the 2200g version. It's a tray processor, meaning only the processor and heat sink are sold, not the case. The chip is in plastic packaging, similar to egg cartons, while the HSF comes in a black box. The seller mentions a new product with a 3-year warranty. Is this a good offer? The regular version is expected soon. Should I wait or not? I have a photo of someone purchasing it. Apologies if the image isn't in high resolution.
You only send the RMA to the seller, who will manage it later, not AMD. Do you have confidence in them?
I’m not sure I can fully trust them, though they’re official shops and quite large in my country. If you want to check the product yourself, here’s the link: https://tokopedia.link/vPQKwBZyT4 — it’s in Indonesian, and it’s safe.
