Hi!
Two years ago I purchased an RTX 2060 and at that time used AfterBurner to achieve a solid +130 mHz GPU OC along with a +1100 mHz memory boost. Based on Unigine Superposition, I observed a performance improvement of about ±5-8%, which was satisfactory. Two years later, I decided to run the benchmarks again just for fun and surprisingly found that the stock frequencies now yield better results than with the overclocked settings (with OCs I lose around ±5% performance).
The only change during this time was my driver version. Apart from that, I maintain a dust-free PC and have good airflow thanks to the CoolerMaster MasterCase H500M. Aside from Nvidia updating how the card behaves with their drivers, I can't explain this either. Can you help? Thanks!

It's possible the oc is now unstable, leading to reduced performance. Silicon causes degradation over time.

But this rapid performance might make an OC unstable? My card is just two years old. I thought a CPU or GPU would start to show issues after five to six years, with noticeable decline over time.
