I've been attempting to activate dev mode but it's not working. I logged out of the Oculus app on my phone, logged back in, and now it won't connect to my headset. It prompts for a 5-digit code, but there isn't one anywhere. I haven't performed a factory reset on my headset.

Check if your Android device allows location access and confirm your phone is on the same network as your Quest. If not, you can reset the device to retrieve the code. This feature is intended solely for initial setup.

Can you recover your apps without resetting everything? You mentioned losing your virtual desktop and using a different account for the Oculus app, but you don’t want to buy it again.

Certain apps enable cross-buy functionality, letting you buy a game once and have it available on both Quest and PC. Virtual Desktop doesn’t offer this feature, though every app bought from Quest remains accessible for reinstall. If a game isn’t found in your account after purchase, reach out to Oculus Support at the provided link.

Hi, welcome! I’ve received a brand new O2, but I’m still experiencing the same problems. It shows 100% charge, yet there’s no visible 5-digit code on the headset or anywhere else. Could you please send a photo of where to find this code or any instructions I should follow? Thanks!
