Hi all,
I'm conducting a stress test on my system to evaluate the performance of my custom watercooling setup. I have an i7 8700k with OCd at 5 GHz. I'm using AIDA64 for testing and also tried Prime64, but the issue persists. I monitor temperatures with HWmonitor and observe that when starting the stress test, my CPU frequency drops to stock (3.7 GHz) and never increases beyond that for hours of testing. Anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this? I searched online but didn't find a solution. Some suggest it's related to temperature, but the readings stay under 55°C. Games like AC Origins and PUBG are running well, with temperatures remaining below 70°C.
